Tej Kohli is a highly-successful International entrepreneur with multiple business interests across the globe in Costa Rica, India, and the U.K., including North and South America.
His many philanthropic interests include The Tej Kohli Foundation (See below for more details), which provides assistance for impoverished children in Costa Rica, a foundation with plans to expand its activities into other countries and areas which require urgent assistance. The Kohli foundation benefits from a $300,000.00 endowment funded solely by Mr. Kohli, enabling it to carry out its important work.
The Tej Kohli Foundation helps needy children living in conditions of poverty in South America to break free of the vicious cycle of poverty, which condemns generation after generation to a life of miserable squalor, bereft of hope and the opportunity to grow and develop as worthwhile human beings, by providing funding for educational opportunities.
As part of its remit, the Tej Kohli Foundation provides a wide range of social welfare programs in Costa Rica to those most in need of it. These programs include:
1.The distribution of food and regular healthy, nutritious meals (with an emphasis on provision for the young and sick)
2.The ongoing, lifelong Education of all members of society (with, once again, a focus on young children and adults, to help them break the cycle of poverty through the instruction of in-depth practical knowledge, and its application on a day-to-day basis)
3.The purchase and donation of clothing to those most in need (It’s the primary concern of loving parents everywhere – giving your children the best possible start in life. This includes providing them with durable and clean clothes which they can use).
4.Advanced Medical care (where judged appropriate. Given the lack of access to even the most basic medical care, The Tej Kohli Foundation acts as a safety-net for those people liable to slip through the cracks of poverty )
